Trial management
- Organisation profile: your name, type (academy, club, school, university, trial organiser), location and website.
- Trials with a clear lifecycle: draft → published → closed → completed. Drafts stay private, and invalid transitions are blocked.
- Eligibility built in: age range on the trial date, required positions, registration deadline and capacity, all enforced when athletes register.
- Automatic closing: registration closes by itself at the deadline you set.
- Registrations dashboard: see who registered for each of your trials, with their football summary and public profile where shared.
Your data stays yours
Organisations are isolated. You can only see and manage your own trials and registrations, and no other organisation can see yours.
Trial day
- Evaluators: add scouts to your organisation and assign them to the whole trial or to specific groups.
- Check-in: athletes show a QR pass; check them in by QR, typed code, ScoutEdge ID or name. Each athlete gets a bib number, and duplicates are blocked.
- ScoutEdge Live: a phone-first field tool. Evaluators see only their assigned players and record what they saw, and separately what they think it means.
Evaluation and decisions
- Human-first ratings: 5 Exceptional to 1 Limited, or N/O (not observed), per attribute, with confidence and context.
- Disagreement preserved: every evaluator's ratings are shown side by side, never averaged, and no one can overwrite another's.
- Shortlist and decide: shortlisted, further assessment, selected or not selected, always with a reason. Every decision is kept in the history with who made it and when.
- Audit trail: check-ins, ratings and decisions are recorded, and records lock when the trial is completed.
